Cluster Gathering at Bateau Bay

Bateau Bay Men's Shed are holding a series of events for SeniorsWeek. Today was the Cluster Gathering where men from sheds across the Cluster travelled to the barbeque centre under the awning of the Bateau Bay Men's Shed.

Speeches were short....
  • John Sharples, the Cluster President spoke about the shed programs including the new funding about Family and Community Violence.
  • Marty Leist promoted the upcoming NSW Mens Shed Expo at Maitland and displayed the new DVD of the AMSA Community Service Announcement adverting sheds.
  • Kim Hopkins spoke about the Cluster Website and encouraged shedders to check the blog for recent news and notice of events.
Men's Sheds from as far afield as the Peninsula Shed, and Swansea were joined by shedders from Gosford, Terrigal, The Entrance and Bateau Bay. Conversations covered personal and shed issues from safety and risk assessment to stories of the old country and some bragging rights and projects. Always something to talk about at the shed.

Another successful gathering of the Sheds !!
